Hello everyone! I hope you’ll be able to help me, I’ve been printing PLA with a raft and after I have gotten the initial zigzag pattern off the print, I’m left with this fuzzy print layer that I think must be part of the raft. However, it is completely adhered to the final print, so does anyone have any ideas for me?

Since you’re printing with PLA, you can always sand it down. Put some sandpaper down and rub the print on it to keep it nice and flat.

Try using more infill on the raft, increase the separation distance and decrease the print temperature. Those 3 changes should make the raft easier to remove.

Thanks for the reply! What kind of separation distance would you recommend?

For some reason I hadn’t thought of that! What grade sandpaper do you think would be best, something fairly coarse?
