I have purchased an Anycubic Kossel 3D printer from GearBest a few weeks ago. It never came with any heatbed and is printing onto the cold glass bed.
I have it assembled now and have tried a few prints and have had some success printing the first layer but after a few moments the print peels off the bed because it doesn’t stick to the bed.
My guess is because there is no heatbed. I have emailed Gearbest contacts David and Sean about getting a heatbed and the A14 mounting bracket for the Trigorilla board that they forgot to include in my packaging but haven’t heard back.
Anyone have any ideas about where I can get the heatbed that comes with the Kit? I’ve seen some other heatbeds for ‘Kossel’ printers on Alibaba and ebay but will need someone to confirm legitimacy of these items.
If you are printing PLA, a heat bed isn’t going to help out that much. It helps to wipe down the bed with IPA to remove any trace of oils, make sure the nozzle is printing the correct height above and a slow 15mm/s speed for the first layer. You may also be printing too hot making it warp or too cold making it not stick to the build surface.
