I have a Monoprice Maker Select Plus and a Robo 3D. The MP is new. I used both printers at the same time to print out the same part, and low and behold, the part on the Monoprice was significantly bigger on the X axis, and maybe Y axis, than the part on the Robo 3D (I only checked the X axis). I measured them and the Robo was spot on, but the Monoprice was bigger by about 3 mm. I called Monoprice, and since I’m not using Cura, they couldn’t help much. I did a test and I marked the print plate at 150 mm on both the X and Y axis and when I used S3D to move the extruder 150 mm, it seemed to have passed my mark by 2 - 3 mm. I have the correct printer selected in S3D, and the build volume is set up as it should be at 200 x 200 x 180 mm. Why are my dimentions off?

Hi Robert,

You will need to update the steps per mm value in your firmware. Check this video for more info - 3D printing basics: Understanding steps per millimeter and using Prusa's calculator - YouTube
